By the help of the video of the the volcanic eruption of Volcano Santiaguito, Guatemala, Jonathan Lees, professor of University of North Carolina and his fellows knew the way that dome of volcano rising up and erupting.
The speed of it is really fast that the phenomena could not be observed unless video is used. Lees said,' Before the plume erupts, the volcanic dome keeps rising. We were not aware of that at all.'
